Data Engineer
Job Duties and Skills:
- Analyze and organize raw data with a systematic approach to Plan, Create, Maintain data architectures and also keeping it aligned with business requirements.
- Build data systems and pipelines by obtaining data from right sources.
- Evaluate business needs and objectives to drive solutions.
- Extraction, Transformation and Loading the data directly from heterogeneous source systems.
- Dive into data and pinpoint tasks where manual participation can be eliminated with automation.
- Interpret trends and patterns to determine whether the model fits into data.
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to find potential outcomes.
- Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability to create better decision-making insights.
- Identify opportunities for data acquisition.
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results.
- Develop analytical tools and programs.
- Conduct research for industry and business questions.
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
- Deliver updates to stakeholders based on analytics.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
